  • Manage assigned accounts/segments from a total order management support perspective
  • Provide responsive accurate order management assistance to internal- and external customers (i.e. co-workers, other departments, legal entities, etc. / OEM, distributor, dealer, end user, etc.)
  • Organize and track order related activities or documents (i.e. correspondence, customer POs, OEM schedules/transactions, actions taken, etc.)
  • Coordinate and communicate with Sales Managers and Management regarding orders and customer ordering activity
  • Coordinate with Management and Sales Managers to solve customers' order management problems
  • Support invoicing process for complex and non-standard orders
  • Monitor logistics activities to ensure fulfillment of contractual agreement
  • Provide accurate monthly engine shipment and revenue forecasts and timely deviation reports
  • Support with accurate monthly power pack and large component shipment forecasts and provide timely deviation reports.
  • Organize, track and document large component supplier POs, schedules and transactions as required.
  • Determine priorities and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives with respect to processes for ordering and shipping of engines, while following RR company guidelines and maintaining detailed documentation as required
  • Work closely with other departments to improve efficiencies and throughput, and maintain positive working relationships
  • Determine and document proper order processing parameters and assist in auditing of the same
  • Occasionally prepare and present professional sales presentations
  • Maintain knowledge of MTU products, applications, and policies
  • Keep company property clean, organized, operational and control expenditures
  • Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
  • Perform special projects as required.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain Management and 3 years of experience in supply chain and/or distribution management; or 7 years of experience in supply chain and/or distribution management
  • US. Citizenship is required as this position will be working on government contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics, production processes and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
  • Excellent knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for order processing, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
  • Strong level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others
  • Strong ability to work extended periods without supervision and good personal drive, with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to make complex decisions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness for occasional travel (less than 10%)
  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite and SAP ERP

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of MTU products and RRPS policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of RRPS ordering process and -system (IPAS)
  • Knowledge of diesel engine manufacturing
