We are looking for a candidate who is willing to come aboard at an entry level and be put on a training programto growinto a leadershipposition (Assistant Manager/Studio Manager). Orange Ambassadors/Front Desk Sales Associates assist in running all "front of the house" fitness studio operations. Our ideal candidates hold passion for fitness, strong customer service skills, and have basic sales experience. The Ambassador is responsible for meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the fitness studio, including package offerings, memberships, membership renewals, retail sales, and maximizing workout traffic. Must be available for regularly scheduled shifts, but "unconventional" hours--early and/or late and weekends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate records using established OTF sales systems
  • Conduct telephone inquiries/follow up calls/customer care calls
  • Lead OTF studio previews with prospects and/or fitness program holders
  • Greet members and guest promptly, enthusiastically, and with a smile, to create a friendly positive entrance into the OTF studio
  • Previous sales experience, with strong sales skills (experience working in a sales quota bearing structure highly preferred)
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills required
  • Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment
  • Functional computer skills required - Microsoft Office basic programs (Word, Excel), Internet, basic computer program software use
  • Health & fitness minded people strongly preferred
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to work and function in an ORANGE TEAM environment (Orange is more than just a color, it’s an attitude)
  • Flexible to work day, evening, and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Compensation included hourly rate plus monthly sales commission/bonuses

As an Assistant Studio Manager, you will be responsible for helping the studio manager with providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and group personal training teams in our facilities. This critical position must have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. As the lead for the sales function, the ASM must execute a lead generation / marketing strategies plan to increase fitness program sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. This leader must pose a high caliber approach to coaching and staff development.

Job Duties Include:

  • Properly managing and exceeding all OTF sales and operational budgets
  • Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (studio events, outreach)
  • Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems
  • Compliance and adherence to OTF Business Policies for daily studio operations
  • Develop a high energy culture with members and staff
  • Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
  • Train and mentor staff for ongoing success and future growth
  • Ensure OTF branding through consistency and continuity in all actions
  • Properly empower, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of sales team and fitness team

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven sales leadership REQUIRED!
  • Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients
  • Min 2-3 years of previous sales experience required
  • Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly recommended
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns
  • Strong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs (Excel, Word)
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of management experience preferred
  • Ability to work and function in a TEAM environment
  • Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed
  • Health & Fitness minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Commission

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per year
