Seeking a Certified Ophthalmic Photography Technician to join our current Ophthalmic Photographer and an experienced team of retina surgeons, Ophthalmic technicians, and clinical research coordinators to help in conducting multiple retina clinical research trials. investigational retinal imaging device studies We are looking for an experienced and organized professional.?

Job Duties: Performs or coordinates photography for Retina research protocols and fundus photography for new research projects in collaboration with other departments.

• Possesses fluency in fundus autofluorescence imaging, Fluorescein angiography, Fundus photography, OCT, ICG angiography OCT-angiography, microperimetry, and wide-field imaging.
• Demonstrates experience and enthusiasm for learning new technology and participating in clinical trials
• Experience in imaging for clinical trials, certification with reading centers such as Wisconsin, Duke, DARC, BIRC, etc. for all imaging modalities
• Perform Venipuncture
• Interface with information technology personnel to ensure appropriate functioning of imaging software and electronic medical records systems, where appropriate
• Perform routine maintenance of Cameras and Equipment

Education and Experience:

• Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA) preferred.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred.

Abilities and Skills:

• Working knowledge of the anatomy of the eye
• 5 yrs. experience as an ophthalmic photographer
• 3 yrs. experience and certification for retinal research reading centers such as Wisconsin, DARC, BIRC, DUKE, etc
• Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, good organizational traits.
• Self-motivated
• Must be results-oriented, multi-tasking, quick learner, respond to the urgent needs of the team and show a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
• Problem-solving ability and ability to handle multiple priorities.
