Location: Charleston, North Carolina

Job Summary:


Responsible for account management and performance of assigned sites. This role reports to the Director of Operations.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for hiring, training, performance management and scheduling the staff needed to support assigned project sites
  • Develops and implements transition plans for new work
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the assigned project contract(s) and responsible for adherence to these contract(s)
  • Implement training programs to develop Craft and Supervisory Personnel
  • Review monthly financial reports and takes corrective actions to bring productivity and cost performance within expectations
  • Overall management responsibility for the budget control processes (Field Change Orders) and the preparation of required reports
  • Maintains client relationships, analysis current strategies, and develops improvement action plans
  • Develops KPI reporting requirement process, and ensures effective delivery internally and externally
  • Initiative to drive process and/or system changes for continued improvement of site best practices as it relates to field execution and back office management
  • Reviews site performance with the customer on a quarterly basis
  • Manage timely billing and receivables performance
  • Responsible for leading assigned site rebid process
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards
  • Profit/loss accountability to include proper project controls and proactive measures to meet or beat budgeted costs
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures concerning employment, compensation, HSEQ, and employee relations
  • Support the Site Manager with the preparation of monthly site reports
  • Manages accounts receivables for the project and works with the customer on the resolution of outstanding items and other opportunities
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance execution and reliability best practices
  • Contribute to project pursuit efforts and effectively present to groups or in interviews for project competitions


Basic Qualifications:


  • Ten or more years of experience in project management or maintenance operations in industrial construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering field preferred
  • CMRP certified preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Able to deal with customers and others at all levels
