TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Operations Manager you will provide leadership for our moving crews and manage the daily operational aspects of the business. In this role you will work with customers, vendors, and all staff members to meet established operating goals and standards.
Our franchising group is the largest multi-unit operator in the
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system, currently operating 14 franchises in Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Philadelphia and Connecticut. Advancement opportunity is very real within our team and within the
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system. The Operations Manager is the direct supervisor for our frontline team of movers and drivers, reporting to their General Manager and Central Support Team who exist to help you crush goals.
In simple terms, your responsibility as Operations Manager is to boost the performance of your location in the three critical areas that drive success and profitability for us. Our goals related to Safety Performance, Customer Service and Sales are consistently measured and frequently discussed in the spirit of improving to elite levels.
Operations Managers also protect our franchise brand by: contributing to the hiring, training, and professional development of franchise employees; assisting with marketing plans; controlling costs to improve profitability; and consistently exceeding customer expectations.

WHAT WE OFFER
- Starting salary: $52,000 annually + monthly bonuses
- Performance based bonus potential equal 15 – 20% of base salary

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments
- Complete various dispatch duties, including: performance audits during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction, vehicle inspections, and paperwork audits
- Lead by example in performance, attitude, attendance and work ethic; responsible for team development and motivation
- Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory; ensure trucks and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and professional manner
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines
- Responsible for employee development, accountability and corrective action programs
- Responsible for being an “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hours
- All other duties as assigned

- High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
- Must have previous management experience. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® or moving industry experience is preferred but not required
- Understanding of and commitment to customer service and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® core values and mission statement
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
- Must be willing to work Saturday’s and one Sunday a month
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
