WHAT TO EXPECT

As an Operations Finance Analyst, you will have the responsibility for assisting in reporting and analyzing consolidated results for Gates Corporation, Americas reporting to VP - Operational Finance.


Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Operations Finance counterparts to create meaningful analytics for informed decision making
  • Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly variance reporting, soliciting business inputs to explain financial results;
  • Communicate complex results to leadership in easy to understand language
  • Track and communicate trend KPIs for Operations leadership
  • Support strategic projects for Operations Finance - ensure that savings are correctly stated and that we realize committed savings.
  • Support cap-ex reporting, fixed asset review, and balance sheet reviews as required
  • Manage Cost-Out model reporting, communicating key wins and at-risk areas on a regular basis
  • Become department SME for Hyperion reporting and Cost-Out tool
  • Partner with S&OP on inventory health and supply chain analytics, making improvement recommendations where identified
  • Assist in policy and reporting standardization across the region & globally
  • All other Ops Finance duties as assigned



ABOUT YOU

  • 2+ years of progressive experience
  • Strong accounting knowledge with experience in all areas of general accounting
  • Strong knowledge in Std Cost determination
  • Teamwork and good communication
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good computer skills with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong team player: proactively able to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all key functions; builds collaborative relationships.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex data
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.


PAY & BENEFITS

  • Full-Time
  • Salary: $61,000 - $82,000
  • Relocation is not provided
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
