Security Clearance: Public Trust (not required to apply)

Primary Location: Hypbrid position located at Atlantic City, NJ, with expectations the employee will go into the office multiple times a month.

What position will entail:

This position will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) client to expand services and market new capabilities to stakeholder organizations. This role will assist in the creation, implementation, and sustainment of processes that allow the client organization to effectively track and monitor strategic initiatives that would impact the current portfolio of National Airspace systems and capabilities.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead/support internal projects pertaining to process creation, risk mitigation, improved communication, and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop project plans based on inputs from team members
  • Conduct group facilitation
  • Gather requirements
  • Plan implementation including scheduling milestones
  • Track actions
  • Create communication artifacts tailored for diverse stakeholders and audiences
  • Coordinate project implementation through the lifecycle of a project, from requirements definition through deployment (in a supporting role to Project Lead)
Requirements:
  • At least one of the following:
  • Associate degree plus 8 years of relevant work experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant work experience, or
  • Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Business Process Improvement: Experience with analyzing an organization's procedures to identify areas where they can improve accuracy, effectiveness and/or efficiency and then redesign those processes to realize the improvements
  • Schedule Management: Experience with the process of developing, maintaining and communicating schedules for time and resources, showing how the work will progress over a period of time and taking into account factors such as limited resources and estimating uncertainty.
  • Risk Management: Experience with the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of risks followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact of unfortunate events or to maximize the realization of opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement/Stakeholder Management: Experience with activities associated with the process by which an organization involves people who may be affected by the decisions it makes or can influence the implementation of its decisions
  • Messaging/Content Development: Experience with the creation of messages targeted to a specific audience using communication channels appropriate for the audience
  • Facility with technical tools to enhance analysis and communication (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Virtual white boards, Zoom)
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Experience in the federal environment preferred
  • Desired characteristics: Self-starter, proactive, comfort in engaging with others
