Main Responsibilites of the Operations Analyst
- Analyze expenses and cost transactions; ensures the transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects.
- Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses including breakdowns of project costs, forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Conducts market research to recommend changes to pricing or business models.
- Prepares cost reconciliation reports, tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.
- Prepare and analyze standard costs and reserves.
- Compile and analyze monthly financial statements for accuracy and variance to plan.
- Compile, prepare, and analyze monthly, budget, and forecast and cost actives.
- Support monthly cost closing activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by reporting manager.
Minimum Qualifications for the Operations Analyst
- BS degree in business administration, accounting or finance
- At least 2 years of related experience
- McLeod software experience required
- Previous logistics/transportation experience
