Role: Onboarding & Community Manager

Workerbee is an online marketplace that connects consultants that possess in-demand corporate software skills with companies seeking short-term assistance to implement new features and functions in the software that form the backbone of their business operations. We are passionate about bringing change and flexibility in how consultants find and deliver work, and are seeking an Onboarding & Community Manager to help us screen and onboard candidates on our platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven presence on social media, an engaging personality with an ability to build communities, and excellent communication and organizational skills. This role requires interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.

Objectives of this Role:

• Follow an end-to-end hiring process to ensure a positive experience for candidates.
• Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
• Build relationships with onboarded specialists.
• Understand the needs of specialists, along with the goals of workerbee and the community of specialists we are trying to build.
• Foster a community on social media (LinkedIn, our community groups) that celebrate our community success.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand which candidates require vetting and onboarding.
• Onboard candidates onto the workerbee platform, following the workerbee ‘vetting process’.
• Gather and convey feedback from specialists to senior leadership so we can better serve their needs.
• Build and maintain a presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and our community chats.
• Celebrate our wins and the people that make up workerbee.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency with social media and professional networks.
• Ability to manage small projects and/or pipelines of work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
