Job Description:
The Cook at Rosewood Post Acute Rehabilitation is responsible for the preparation meals for the residents. This position is also responsible for cooking a variety of foods that ensure the highest quality and resident satisfaction, maintaining the cleanliness of the food services area.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must know safe food handling and preparation techniques.
- Must know best practices to avoid the waste and misuse of product.
- Must have the ability to present foods in an attractive and appetizing manner and to test the quality of food by taste and smell.
- Must have experience in institutional cooking.
- Must be familiarized with diets.
- Must be able to lift more than 30lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends
