Vis A Vis Health is hiring! We are looking for an Office Manager Billing Liaison to join our medical practice team in Brooklyn, NY.

Vis A Vis Health is hiring an Office Manager Billing Liaison to join our growing team. The primary role of the Office Manger Billing Liaison is to manage, oversee, and facilitate all clinical, business, and regulatory activities.

Office Manager Billing Liaison Job Requirements Include:

  • Knowledge of primary care (or similar) billing and fluency of EMR is required
  • Associate's degree required
  • Experience will be considered in lieu of education
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with people of all levels
  • Long term thinking person
  • More than computer proficiency, an inherent desire to learn computer systems to make things easier and better
  • EMR/EHR - experienced
  • Excellent problem solving/trouble-shooting skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Billing competency
  • Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking an experienced practice manager to work with our supportive team in modernizing and streamlining office and billing processes
  • The position will perform a number of duties, including customer service, scheduling, patient benefit authorizations, inventory maintenance, filing, billing functions, medical record requests, supply ordering, and paperwork.
  • Aligning billing processes with front desk and back endcare
  • Resolves all billing issues and complaints to promote patient satisfaction
  • Setting an example for customer service
  • Maintaining inventory of and ensuring safety and security of office/medical supplies
  • Reviewing all patient cases/reports daily/weekly and ensuring all information for accurate billing is present.
  • Liaison with the AR team daily/weekly to assist with denied claims and fix processes accordingly to ensure proper capture of patient data
  • Address and educate front end denials with Operations team
  • Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information
  • Performs other duties as required or requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,473.00 - $77,257.60 per year
