General Responsibilities

Come team up with one of NYC’s fastest-growing financial advisory practices! We are looking for an outgoing and committed individual with strong work ethic to assist a Financial Advisor and his team to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role assists with the needs of the office, helps facilitate changes to client investment portfolios, assists with client relations processes and marketing initiatives to help manage and grow our Wealth Management business to deliver an excellent client experience.


Office Management

  • Maintains office efficiency to assist team members with office systems and execute on client service, while maintaining high standard of effective workflow, i.e. being the first point of contact for client questions, delegation and client service
  • Ensure client requests are processed promptly and following through to completion
  • Supports team operations by maintaining office systems and communicating with team members
  • Maintain a system for calendar management and scheduling
  • Help manage advisors’ schedule and client timelines
  • Onboard new clients with insurance applications, investment applications and insurance underwriting
  • Manage client relations processes and client follow ups
  • Sustain a positive, enthusiastic and professional office atmosphere for clients, representatives and colleagues, including participating in and coordinating team building activities
  • Work with team members to track business metrics and initiatives

Marketing and Client Relations

  • Assist in the coordination of projects between Director of Marketing and Client Service and Internal Marketing Director to establish Brand Awareness through marketing material, social media and events
  • Helping with the planning and execution of marketing and social media initiatives
  • Coordination of client follow ups, client appreciation, gifting and events, in-person and virtual
  • Assisting our teams lead advisors with prospecting to generate new clientele via researching new potential clients and helping to coordinate compelling client events

Qualifications include

  • 2-3 years+ of work experience, preferably financial services experience though not required with the right skill set and desire to learn the financial services industry
  • Understand we will require passing the Life, Accident & Health Exam within 3 months, as well as pursue future financial degrees and designations thereafter
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented
  • Extremely good at time management and driving tasks to completion with follow through
  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize
  • Motivated to grow with the team
  • Comfortable in a small team environment, able to think about the business critically, and pro-actively share new ideas
  • Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions with little oversight
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels
