We are a small company located in Villa Park, IL looking for seasonal help in our office. This position provides flexible hours and a small, quiet office environment. The ideal candidate should have:
- previous office and/or secretarial experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and Mac computers
- the ability to learn quickly and independently as well as multitask
- a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
Duties include:
- Answering phones, checking voicemail, and returning calls
- Entering data on Quickbooks
- Checking and responding to emails
- Inputting schedule into Microsoft Excel
- Processing credit card payments
- Balancing credit card statements
- Sending certificates of insurance to customers
- Submitting JULIE dig request forms
- Filing and organizing company paperwork
- Updating social media pages and company website
- Placing orders for arborist supplies and office supplies
- Advertising in various publications
