Summary/objective

Our company is looking for an office assistant to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.

Essential functions

1. Allocate and distribute mail/Mail outs for participants and parents

2. Arrange calendars for the program

3. Arrange all clerical duties in the office

4. Organize office and supplies

5. Participant attendance for Supplemental Instruction, tutoring, workshops, and meetings

6. And any and all other duties as assigned by director

7. Job One duties for the participants in the summer

Competencies

Current participants and provide a successful for college education.

Work environment

Classroom academics for 90 participants to be successful for college

Physical demands

Classroom space, high school participants

Travel required

80%.

Required education and experience

· Evidence of experience building relationships and working closely with faculty, staff, and community representatives

· Experience with partnerships and strategic planning or operational planning.

· The ability to work effectively in a very collaborative Leadership environment) is required.

Preferred education and experience

· Associate preferred in education or other related

· Executive leadership experience at an institution of higher education is preferred.

· One to three years of leadership experience within high school students,

Additional eligibility requirements

TRIO experience Personal characteristics and/or background that will allow him or her to relate to complexity of educational needs of the low-income, first-generation population (applicant whose background is similar to population served is preferred).
