Martial Arts World of Clover Hill is seeking an ENTHUSIASTIC, SELF MOTIVATED, POSITIVE employee to add to our AMAZING staff!

We are looking for an Office Assistant to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures as well as loves working with children. We are currently offering a part time position for someone who is self motivated to maintain a positive work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication as well as the safety for the children. This is a rewarding career where you will be helping children to become a better version of themselves everyday. And by doing that you will become a better version of yourself everyday. This position requires planning activities, games , classroom supervision for the children in our program as well as customer service skills. Office assistant duties and responsibilities include scheduling appointments, making office supplies arrangements, daily cleaning and providing excellent customer service. Individual will also be responsible for company van driving duties within the midlothian area. previous experience in child care is a huge plus.

A successful office assistant should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. Ultimately, the Office assistant should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for office assistant duties including: general computer literacy.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, confirm daily appointments.
  • General classroom supervision, leading structured classroom games, and activities.
  • Maintain the office condition, sending and receiving emails for daily operations.
  • Organize office operations and procedures.
  • Individual needs to posses a good driving record and pass a background check.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Office assistant or Administrative assistant
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional experience in child care preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus'

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
