Job description
Schedule requires some flexibility, part time position
- Assembles and distributes class/event rosters on a daily basis.
- Upload classes & events in registration platform
- Schedules appointments through EPIC
- Confirms appointments for following day & pre-registers patients
- Check in and check out patients & attendees for education, classes and consults
- Orders office and medical supplies.
- Prepares contracts for classes-events
- Supports office staff with clerical duties.
- Takes appropriate payment and documents according to procedure.
- Handles all incoming telephone calls made to the department in an appropriate manner.
- Normal office environment. Frequent contact with the public.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Training in secretarial skills
Work Experience:
Previous Clerical Experience Required
Previous EPIC Experience Preferred
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to learn new computer software designed for department.
Ability to use standard office equipment including copiers, facsimile machines and multi-line phones.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently with limited guidance required.
Excellent verbal and customer service skills to communicate with clients in the office and over the phone.
Must be flexible and willing to take on challenges
