Job Description

Job Summary: General Office Administrator is responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative duties for the Human Resources Department and the Executive Leadership Team.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain all department records in an orderly, secure and confidential manner.
  • Develop and maintain employee communications, employee boards, compliance notices, etc.
  • Assist in supporting executive leadership team with expense reports and meeting scheduling
  • Input to HRIS new hire data and any personnel changes. Review input and error reports for completeness and accuracy, making corrections as necessary.
  • Prepare check requests for subscriptions, seminars, periodicals, memberships, etc., code invoices for blanket purchase orders.
  • Edit and type letters, reports, notices, etc.
  • Receive and screen telephone calls, relay messages and furnish information wherever possible.
  • Order and maintain stationery supplies for the Human Resources department and Executive team.
  • Work with accounting for implementation of potential vendors
  • Distributing checks to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Create annual, quarterly, and monthly expense reports
  • Sourcing cost-effective materials, goods, products, and services
  • Monitor inventory stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Review and track deliveries for any orders
  • Ensure that invoices received are sent to accounting for payment processing.
  • Requesting proposals and negotiate contracts and payment terms
  • Perform other duties as necessary or appropriate to the position.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with no experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of professional work experience).
  • At least 1 additional year of related experience; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Strong follow-through skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Team Oriented.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience using HRIS systems preferred.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19 to $24 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 160 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
