We are looking for a talented OCU Non-Technical Administrative Associate to join our team specializing in General Management for ourCorporate/CBS SegmentinColumbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Coordinates major activities and events with Cummins leaders (e.g., Board of Directors and the Cummins Leadership Team) and guests
  • Leads initiatives, key areas of work and special projects for TES
  • Serves as a team member on the newly created Technical & Environmental Solutions Center
  • Provides administrative support for Brian Mormino as the Executive Director for Technical & Environmental Systems
  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
  • Gathers, compiles and verifies information and enters it accurately into documents such as reports, presentations or forms; and office systems such as databases or spreadsheets.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience

  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • Provides administrative support for the Executive Director of Technical & Environmental Systems (TES) along with support for the entire TES Leadership Team; requires proactive and collaborative engagement with the TES LT and the internal and external customers served.
  • Serves as a team member on the newly created Technical & Environmental Solutions Center which has the purpose to maximize efficiency by collaborating across the TES organization and key stakeholders to develop tools and implement standardized processes that deliver reliable solutions; focus areas for the Solutions Center include data and systems, external reporting and engagement, and internal training, communications and employee engagement
  • Leads initiatives, key areas of work and special projects for TES - past examples include developing an employee engagement program, designing and implementing a recycling program, arranging team organizational culture events like a summer cookout, facilitating team budgets and managing expenses, setting Leadership Team staff meeting agendas and coordinating follow-ups, etc.
  • Coordinates major activities and events with Cummins leaders (e.g., Board of Directors and the Cummins Leadership Team) and guests (e.g., leadership visits by customers and Health Effects Institute); requires the ability to manage multiple complicated requests and be dependable to follow through and track required deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
