Position: LVN / LPN - OB/GYN

Location: 8631-8635 West Third Street, #510E/690W/810E/830E
Los Angeles, CA 90048

Shift Information: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 17:00)

Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend

Job description- Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. Checks schedules and organizes patient flow. Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers medications and vaccines and monitors patient response.

Responsibilities-

• Demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in providing care, using technology, administering medications, performing procedures, and managing emergencies.
• Evaluate and perform physical exams on mostly cardiac patients as well as patients in the ICU.
• Ensure office are compliant with current OSHA & CLIA regulations as well as medical waste generator reports.
• Provide accurate measurements of biparietal diameter, head circumference, femur length, abdomen circumference and the amniotic fluid.
• Provide care in wide variety of emergent cases including neurology, cardiology, respiratory, OB/gyn, orthopedics and more.

Requirements-

• Valid nursing license
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Obstetrics and gynecology experience
• Knowledge of women’s health issues
• Ability to interpret medical records and test results
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Locals accepted: Yes, preferred
• Pending License accepted: No

• Years of experience REQ: 1 year

Pay $40/h - $45/h on W2
