What is Nuuly Analytics:
The analytics team leads strategic initiatives across the business, helping bring data-driven
insights to other functions, including buying/planning, logistics, finance, customer service,
marketing, and user experience. The analytics team also partners closely with the data science team, working hand-in-hand
on model development, business strategy, and ensuring that algorithms answer the core questions or issues we are trying to address.

Core Responsibilities:

• Drive strategy and analytics across the business, with a focus on the following
  functional units: logistics, buying/planning, merchandising
• Work along with data science to run simulations/scenarios for inventory balancing,
  pricing, and garment longevity
• Understand and interrogate data via Google BigQuery (SQL)
• Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating
  data into insights.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the meaning & intent behind their
  questions, not just perform question-and-answer services. Partner with
  stakeholders to inform strategy.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of analytics experience
• Strong preference for experience in one or both of: supply chain operational
  analytics, retail buying/planning analytics
• Expert-level experience with SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Familiarity working with arrays in SQL is a plus, but not required
• Demonstrated strong ability to QA & interrogate queries to resolve bugs
• Experience with Python is a plus, but not required
• Significant experience working with technical & non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with basic statistical concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience

• Use Python to build regressions, classification, and other statistical/ML models
