Perry Lutheran Homes is looking for compassionate CNA/CMAs like you to care for our wonderful residents. In our Christian, caring community, we offer assisted living, long-term nursing care, and two secure memory care wings for residents with Alzheimer’s Disease or other Dementia-related diseases.

Scheduler Working Hours:

- On-Call Schedule: Monday 7am - Friday 3pm and occasional weekends

- Filling in shifts as needed

Scheduler Job Responsibilities:

• Determine and record work assignments based on location, job classification, and restrictions.
• Adjust schedules daily or as needed to meet schedule needs
• Communicate schedule information to all staff
• Verify the accuracy of weekly schedules
• Scheduling the nursing department (Envionrmental Aides, CNAs, CMAs, Nurses)
• Create the master schedule
• Enter absenses into the system
• Fill open shifts whenever an opening occurs
• Ensure any staffing changes are documented
• Other tasks as assigned
• Provide resident-centered care focusing on engagement and life enrichment
• Assist residents with daily living activities focusing on safety and compassion
• Become a valuable team-member working together to create positivity
• Demonstrate interpersonal effectiveness by building meaningful relationships
• Use critical thinking skills to constantly improve and innovate

CNA / CMA Requirements: * Applicants must be certified

• Competencies in person-directed and elder-directed caregiving
