About ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital
ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is a full-service, 117-bed acute care facility where residents of Tarboro and the surrounding communities can receive a wide range of health services close to home. As part of the ECU Health system of care, the hospital offers high quality care provided by more than 20 medical specialists, rehabilitation services, a birthing center, a cancer center, outpatient clinics and more.
Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant I or II performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. As an NA I or NA II, you will function within the framework of the NA I listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services and/or the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.
Minimum Requirements
- High School, GED, or higher
- Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification
NA I:
- Must have an active NAI listing with the NC Department of Health and Human Services
NA II:
- Must have an active NAI listing with the NC Department of Health and Human Services
- Must have an active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing
Other Information
- 36 hours a week
- 7 pm - 7 am
- Required to work 3 (12 hour) shifts
- Required to work every other weekend
