We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work at our Long Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping patients with a wide variety of medical issues and have experience working in a long term care environment. This is a full-time position and the position requires an advanced knowledge of medical terminology as well as strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures to patients.
• Assess health condition and determine appropriate course of action in coordination with physician or physician's assistant.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and report changes to physician or nurse practitioner.
• Provide information to families and other health care providers.
• Perform physical assessment of patients; interacting with patients, families and other members of the health care team.
• Utilize specialized equipment and technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.30 - $13.00 per hour
