The Franciscan Sisters of the Poor are seeking Nursing Assistants to provide an exceptional level of care for a small group of Sisters at St. Clare Convent located at 60 Compton Road. The Convent is the private home of the Sisters (not a facility) and provides an excellent work environment. Currently we have evening hours and PRN openings to work varying schedules depending on the needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provides appropriate care based on each individual's needs and conditions
• Assists in assessing individual's needs; communicates changes in individual's conditions
• Provides a safe and supportive environment
• Maintains a positive demeanor, treating each individual with kindness, dignity and respect
• Assists with light housekeeping and laundry
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 2+ years relevant experience in Long Term Care or Home Health preferred.
• Ability to independently provide appropriate care and make decisions as circumstances warrant
• Strong work ethic, self-starter
