Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Behavioral Health
Path Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner in to provide psychiatric service care in our rapidly growing office. This skilled professional must be able to work collaboratively with members of interdisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement or evaluate treatment plans. Essential responsibilities
- Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history for every client
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs.
- Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
- Implements interventions to support the patient to regain or maintain physiologic stability, including but not limited to serving in the first assisting role.
- Monitors the effectiveness of medications and interventions
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
- Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools.
Minimum qualifications
- Licensed nurse in the state of Ohio with Advance Practice Registered Nurse License in good standing.
- Board Certified
- Active DEA required
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); PALS provider card as required by department and facility
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in the Nurse Practitioner role preferred.
- Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
