Job Summary and Qualifications

The clinical nurse manager is a registered nurse who reports directly to the Cardiac/Neuro Director. The clinical manager demonstrates expertise in the daily operations of the telemetry unit(s) and other departments as assigned. The clinical manager is responsible and accountable for monitoring the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process, physician orders, established policies and procedures, quality improvement initiatives, established professional standards, and administrative house-wide policies.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing, BSN required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or healthcare related field, highly desired.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California, BLS, ACLS and NIHSS required.
• EKG Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Hospital Fire & Safety certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years telemetry/med-surg experience.
• Nursing Specialty Certification, highly desired.
