Brief Overview:

As the Amwell Psychiatric Care Technician, you will be the front line of provider support, project implementation and onboarding new customers as well as providers. You'll support our internal customers (local and remote users) with the setup, maintenance, and management of in-house developed applications, third-party clinical applications, and video systems. Maintaining and managing the application infrastructure of the company and ensure the availability of applications. Handle escalated incidents/problems, determination, and resolution. Participate and play a significant role in daily consult management, system implementation, and training on new customers and provider's onboarding.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Being attentive to different provider and client needs and being able to adjust accordingly
  • Processing client consult request and alerting our providers.
  • Managing patient queue, ensuring patients are being taken promptly
  • Comfortable working in a mixed technology environment (Windows, macOS, iOS, etc.)
  • Technology project planning and implementation
  • Understanding new software systems and their role in meeting the client's needs.
  • Assist with the installation and customization of software as a service (SaaS) systems.
  • Ability to assist and support users remotely and in-person to troubleshoot and resolve hardware related problems in desktops and associated peripherals
  • Should have a basic understanding of clinical applications, different EMR applications, and practice management software
  • Data Analytics, building BI Dashboard managing it
  • Generating customized performance reports and collecting data about company objectives
  • Investigate high wait consults and determine source of delay from available information
  • Effective communication with respective managers to keep them up to date with on going issues

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 Years of Experience working with technology
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to manage multiple websites and track multiple ongoing situations
  • Clear written and verbal communications are required
  • Goal achievers positive thinking and to do attitude
  • Proficiency in Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Clinical (EMR, Hospital Information System) Applications
  • Knowledge of reporting and monitoring tools
  • A good team player and willing to work off-hour
  • Bachelor in Computer Science (IT/ Applications Infrastructure) or equivalent
  • CCNA, MCSE, and other EMR certifications will be added advantage

The typical hourly wage range for this position is $16.81 - $23.11. The actual hourly wage offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role.
