MBS is currently hiring for janitorial staff in North Portland. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work who have cleaning experience. Ideal candidates have good work ethic, a positive attitude and sense of responsibility.

Schedule:

• Sunday - Thursday
• 6:00 pm - 12:30am

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning, sanitizing tasks, and services.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace the trash can lining.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
• Clean areas of the buildings by emptying trash, sweeping and cleaning surfaces.
• Use cleaning solutions to clean surfaces.
• Mix various cleaning agents.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Preferred 1-3 years' experience in the janitorial or custodial industry.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be efficient and have attention to detail.
• Must be a good communicator with the MBS team and property managers.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to frequently reach, bend, and reach.
