IMPORTANT: As we are a community care provider you must be a driver with a car for this role. We also request that our staff be available work alternate weekends, for continuity of care for our lovely clients. eg We will ask you to commit to working every other Saturday and/or Sunday morning.

Right at Home Reading & Wokingham District supports clients in all of the following areas: Wokingham, Winnersh, Woodley, Sonning, Shinfield, Earley, Lower Earley and Twyford areas of Berkshire. So if you live in the Reading, Wokingham Twyford or Bracknell areas, and want to make a genuine difference, we could be exactly who you are looking for.

Duties will include:

• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
• Personal care
• Administering medication
• Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
• Shopping
• Housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Taking Clients for appointments or outings

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

• Be available for early mornings or evenings and alternate weekends (preferred)
• Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle
• Have a genuine passion to want to help others
• Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer or Heath Care Assistant we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail, hospitality, hairdressers/ beauticians, covid testers, cleaners.
