Outpatient Neurology Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) Opportunity–Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City)

Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has as excellent opportunity for an employed outpatient neurology Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant) in Norwalk, Connecticut, located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. We are affiliated with Norwalk Hospital. Join a growing employed practice with collegial colleagues who are long established in the community. Our Neurology team at Norwalk is part of a comprehensive neurosciences program that spans our larger 7 hospital system and includes Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation.

Our ideal candidate will be a well-trained, board certified Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant looking to join a highly capable team of established and respected neurologists. We offer a very competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits, including allowances for CMEs and dues expenses. CT state license, Controlled Substance Registration, and Federal DEA are required.

Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine, Ross University School of Medicine and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound.
