The Network Development Assistant for Construction, Warehouse and Real Estate departments will report to the Head of Network Development of Cellular One. The Network Development Assistant will be expected to provide high-level administrative & Project Coordination support, by preparing reports and presentations, reviewing email and regular mail, attending scheduled meetings and communicating with department managers. This includes fulfilling a key role by assisting in tracking and coordinating the company’s fleet vehicles and construction site work. The position demands excellent organizational, interpersonal, multiple tasking, budgetary responsibilities, project coordination and computer skills. The Network Development Assistant must interface effectively with internal company departments, as well as outside companies/vendors. With this role, effective decision-making skills will be required, in order to support the Network Development Managers. This position requires actions and behaviors that promote a positive, supportive working environment at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • The position will require meticulous attention to detail, skilled with excel spreadsheets, able to interface with application-based software, have a sense of urgency, and be responsible for the safeguarding, at times, of confidential information and material.
  • Will assist in the organization and tracking of all of the company’s fleet vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and vehicle logging is completed and up to date.
  • Will assist with PO and inventory tracking and proper accounting coding of goods and services.
  • Will assist in budget tracking of construction projects and assist field crews with overnight stay reservations and tracking.

This role requires the individual to be capable of multi-tasking and handling diverse projects in a fast-paced environment. Being personable, outgoing, and having the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as the public is a must. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Hotel reservations for field crews
  • Prepare PO’s and track actual costs by projects
  • Assist with pool vehicle requests
  • Insurance and registration distribution
  • Input vehicle service invoices for history tracking
  • Research PO’s for open or outstanding invoices, and proper GL codes
  • Assist construction with Certify and exact Time reports Tracking of Construction Training and Scheduling
  • Tracking of Construction Fringe Benefit usage
  • Prepare Construction Project Ready Document Folders
  • Prepare Construction Close out Package Documentation
  • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information
  • Create and maintain project status spreadsheets.
  • Processing Purchase Orders for construction
  • Tracking outstanding PO’s and back orders
  • Work with Accounting for GL coding
  • Split time between Show Low office and Show Low warehouse
  • Reconcile invoices against PO’s, resolve discrepancies
  • Meeting with vendors as needed
  • Weekly/Monthly reports
  • Attend Project Status Report Meetings
  • Be there to help other team members
  • Tracking of Construction Training and Scheduling
  • Tracking of Construction Fringe Benefit usage
  • Prepare Construction Project Ready Document Folders
  • Prepare Construction Close out Package Documentation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Associates or Bachelor degree preferred

Experience

  • 1-2 years in a significant administrative assistant role
  • 2-3 years or bookkeeping, accounting, or other financial experience required

Skills

  • Advanced Excel abilities; Prepare spreadsheets and databases, develop formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets, trouble shoot functions
  • Excellent MS Office abilities; Word, Access, PowerPoint,
  • Strong universal computer skills; Ability to work in a variety of applications to pull data and produce reports
  • Strong organizational skills; time management, task prioritization and tracking
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to write clearly and interact within the department and with vendors

Hourly $18 - $23 DOE
