Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and overall management of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Select Responsibilities:

• Manage multi-million-dollar multifamily construction projects from concept to completion
• Participate in pre-bid meetings to assist the preconstruction team with value engineering
• Develop scopes of work and perform project buyout
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and other third parties. Evaluate contractor performance to ensure contractual obligations are being met
• Control project budget
• Review RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings
• Manage and process pay applications and change order requests
• Identify, report, and resolve any issues that may impact the budget or schedule
• Act as liaison between architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Attend regular project/progress report meetings
• Partner with Superintendent on overall project performance
• Direct and mentor subordinate staff, i.e. Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers
• Perform periodic site visits to inspect progress and quality of work

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager running ground up, new construction Multifamily projects
• Proficiency in construction computer software and Microsoft Office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
