MultiCare Maintenance Specialist
The MultiCare Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and completing all pre-work for MultiCare deployment conversions, partnering closely with the Director of Facilities and local Operations leadership.

General Description
The MultiCare Maintenance Specialist position will play a pivotal role in leading local store leadership teams in the preparation of and transition into a Jiffy Lube MultiCare store, which expands services offered in-store to brakes, tires, batteries, spark plugs and more, including pre-rollout preparation and deployment and post-deployment support.
This role will also perform maintenance work and provide minor repairs to store facilities and equipment, ensuring that facilities remain open and in excellent operating condition. They will be required to perform a wide range of facility tasks, including repairs, aesthetic work or maintaining the facility’s equipment.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to

  • Assembling and installing items such as wall cabinets, toolboxes, work benches, signage, computer podiums, printers, air hoses, etc.
  • Ensuring the future work area is unobstructed and cleared and assist with removing or relocating items as needed (totes/echo box etc...)
  • Reimaging the lounge area, including television and wall mount setup, and assembling chairs and/or end tables
  • Install electrical wire outlets as needed
  • Perform final testing of all vehicle lifts to ensure operational
  • Routine maintenance such as fixing cosmetic damages (windows, doors, wall repairs, etc.)
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks (changing HVAC filters, and belts, replacing expansion joints, etc.) and completing a thorough property and equipment inspection.
  • Repair/Replace operational equipment to keep each store operating at full capacity, such as repair/replace oil guns, pumps, hoses, compressors, lifts, etc.
  • Be able to perform equipment installations, such as air compressors, pumps, and hoses.
  • Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore use
  • Repair/Replace plumbing or restroom fixtures as needed
  • Repairing small electrical issues, such as changing outlets, switches, and lighting, as well as address emergency electrical issues such as shorted wiring that could cause a hazard
  • Maintain each building’s HVAC equipment to keep climate control functioning properly
  • Addressing or repairing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries to guests or Teammates
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Criteria and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel, up to 75%
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of issues are identified and promptly addressed
  • General plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, and drainage issues, and replace fixtures
  • General electrical knowledge to change outlets, switches, address emergency issues and identify potential problems
  • General maintenance and carpentry skills to handle basic repairs around the building
  • Mechanical knowledge is required with automotive service equipment and tools. Such as oil delivery guns and pumps; air compressors, and lifts.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to partner with store teammates, local management, and contracted vendors
  • Physical endurance to handle a full shift of being active in an outdoor environment, including lifting, bending, stooping, climbing on ladders, walking on roofs, and working in confined spaces.
  • Organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Must possess reliable transportation and tools
  • Ability to use internal company systems and Microsoft Office applications
