Multi-Purpose Office Clerk located in Physician Office
· Full Time with Benefits (M–F 8:00-5:00)
· One year experience in office setting or hospital setting
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Proper phone etiquette
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Knowledge of medical insurance (EOBs, etc.) preferred
· Experience with billing and insurance preferred
· Back office experience is a plus
Job Summary: Provides indirect patient care in the office setting. Greets and registers patients. Verifies patient demographic and insurance information. Performs clerical duties. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, office staff and the medical staff. Participates in performance improvement activities
