What You'll Do
As an MRO Buyer, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team located in Willard, OH. You'll get to:
- Work in the development and evaluation of suppliers
- Constantly seek supply alternatives for materials already developed, seeking to reduce costs and/or performance improvements.
- Follow up on delivery of materials and equipment.
- Plan the supply of consumable materials (cutting oil, grinding wheels, abrasives, and office supplies, etc.)
- Meet corporate procedures for price adjustment negotiation.
- Conduct material development projects (manage term, cost, specification, and development-related activities)
- Lead a small team of purchasing and tool crib associates.
- Set measurable goals and provide timely feedback to associates.
- Support cross-functional team initiatives around total cost improvements and supply vulnerability reductions
- Update and meet area KPIs
- Supports areas of manufacturing, supplies, quality, sales, marketing, global sourcing.

- Bachelor's degree in business/related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of professional purchasing experience - AS400 (SAP/N4)/MAPICS knowledge preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Microsoft Access and Excel
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and factory personnel.
