Position: MRI Technician

Location: 80 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive Southeast Atlanta, GA 30303

Shift Information: Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:00)

Job Duration: 13 weeks contract with an option to extend

Job description- We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented radiologic technologist to be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes. The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients' questions. The radiologic technologist will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels, and may assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities-

• Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
• Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
• Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
• Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
• Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
• Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
• Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.

Requirements-

• Tech State License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years
• ARRT
• ARRT Advanced Certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience (Accepts first-time traveler
