Automotive Motor Vehicle Title Clerk

Fullerton Automotive is seeking a candidate that is a strong and motivated self-starter to fill a Motor Vehicle Clerk position.

Responsibilities

• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles and generates plates and registrations.
• Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
• Prepares Certificates of Origin (MSO)
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.
• Assigns over titles for all wholesaler
• Other administrative duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• CDK experience preferred
• Motor Vehicle experience preferred
• Pleasant phone demeanor

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
• MOTOR VEHICLE PROCESSING: 1 year (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
