Job Description
Manages the purchase and selection of merchandise. Manages, receives and displays inventory. Responsible for the daily operations and customer relations of the gift shop. Prepares and submits financial reports. Resolves customer service and volunteer concerns in a timely manner. Attends various markets throughout the year. Monitors merchandise on an on-going basis to maintain appropriate inventory levels and determine turnover rate. Negotiates cost effective contracts with vendors. Orients and trains gift shop volunteers on an on-going basis. Addresses and problem solves issues in a timely manner during the work day. Bachelors degree preferred. Retail sales experience required. Previous retail and management experience is preferred.
