Our therapists are responsible for case management of the children in care; competing intake evaluations and conducting individual and group therapy. They collaborate with hospital liaisons, mental health centers and the community to collectively address individual needs of the clients. Salary starts at $30.00 per hour.

Must be 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.

Education Requirements:

Master’s Degree in social work, family therapy or counseling from an accredited institution.

Licensure/Certification:

LMSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LPC, LCPC, LSCSW or another approved license with the Kansas BSRB to practice in the capacity of this position. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of one year supervised experience in providing individual, family and group therapy to children and/or adolescents in a hospital setting.

Camber Children’s Mental Health is a network of nonprofit children’s mental health hospitals and residential treatment centers in Kansas City, Wichita and Hays. You previously knew us as KVC Hospitals and for over 30 years, our healthcare and mental health professionals have provided compassionate treatment to help children and teens achieve mental health wellness.
