Job Description

The FBC Membership Executive's primary responsibility is to sell FBC Memberships for our FBC club location within our facilities. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, customer service oriented, and have previous boating/boat ownership experience. The FBC membership executive will need to be available to the prospective member as needed and must be able to provide a hassle-free experience for all prospective members. This position requires an entrepreneurial spirit, whereas the team member will need to consistently follow up on all leads that come his/her way. Relentless customer follow-up skills are a must. This will be handled over the phone and via email. Until a prospect asks to be removed from our database, they are a solid prospect and should be treated as such. In addition to the company generated leads provided, Membership Executives are responsible for proactive lead generation. You will be required to participate in boat shows, trade shows, open houses, member socials and many additional on-site events. Networking and Guerilla marketing experience is a must. This person should be persuasive and be able to close membership sales through an honest sales process.

THIS POSITION IS 100% COMMISSION.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be available to prospective members 7 days a week and after normal business hours.
  • Continuously interact with current members to gain leads by member referrals.
  • Answer phones and respond to email leads.
  • Maintain a clean and professional sales environment through daily housekeeping and organization.
  • Daily use of our CRM system
  • Work special events such as on-site and off-site shows.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for FBC sales department
  • Anything else needed upon or asked.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and people skills
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Superior understanding of MS Office/MS Excel and various business software
  • Ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Excellent Organization Skills
  • Proficiency with basic mathematics
  • Persuasiveness and Integrity
  • Adequate knowledge of boats and boating safety
