Travel Resorts of America is looking for an EXPRIENCED Member Upgrade Telemarketing Rep at our Cooperate Office in Southern Pines, NC. Our Upgrade Telemarketing Reps calls our members in order to book appointments for our Upgrade Team.

Travel Resorts of America currently operates eleven premium, membership based Camping Resorts in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Whether an RV owner, tent-camper, or booking a cabin, there are plenty of options for our members to choose from, along with amazing campground amenities with unique adventures and activities!

Qualifications

  • Work authorization (Required)
  • Customer Service or Telemarketing experience (Preferred)
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Ability to work well in a Team Environment

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Contact members through a dialer system to book appointments for their member meetings.
  • Successfully overcome objections.
  • Use of Microsoft Outlook to communicate with co-workers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams to communicate and attend weekly meetings with the department.

Daily Phone Responsibilities

  • Agent is to follow the provided script and hit all key points in a call.
  • Agent is to leave a voicemail on every call and every provided number on account in dialer.
  • Agent is to properly disposition every call.
  • Agent is to call out of the dialer unless otherwise instructed by manager.
  • Agent is to do a warm transfer when member calls in and ask for another agent. If agent is not available within 30 seconds, then you are to assist the member accordingly.
  • Agent is to verify email and phone #s on every call. If there is an update agent is required to make changes in Express prior to booking.
  • SCHEDULED CALLBACKS: If someone calls in for another agent and that agent is not available you can do 1 of 2 things: 1. Assist the member and book under said Agent’s name. 2. Send a message to the agent who has a CB with the member’s name and best # to reach them. When making a personal CB you have 30 days from the date created to work this lead. It will then repopulate back in to the dialer if not booked. A scheduled callback is when the member agrees on a said date and time to set up their appointment. If a member says that a day or time MAY work for them DO NOT BOOK, allow them to speak with co-member and set a callback
  • In between call times should be no more than 2 minutes. This allows you to set callbacks, look up next lead, etc.

Pay: $11.00 per hour
