Description:
Our Member Service Department is looking for energetic and success driven team members to work in our in-bound call center! As a Member Service Representative, you will provide excellent quality service to current and potential new Members, team members, and businesses via inbound calls and written communication using multiple systems and programs in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting members with answering a wide range of questions, performing transactions, troubleshooting, problem solving and providing Royal Credit Union products and services that meet the Member’s needs. Work Schedule:
Working approximately 40 hours per week. Variable hours between 8:30 - 7:00pm Monday through Friday and two Saturdays per month 8:30am - 2:00pm.

Location:
This position is part of Royal's workplace flexibility program and has the ability to be partially remote up to 4-5 days a week after full onsite training at the Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI. When not working remote, the office location is flexible at either the Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI or at our Business Center in Chippewa Falls, WI based on office availability and candidate preference.

Required Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with multiple software systems that require data entry simultaneously
  • Must have strong phone skills
  • Have a working knowledge of financial services
  • Must be compassionate for customer service and truly enjoy assisting people with problems and finding solutions to their needs
  • Exhibit advanced skills in using a personal computer and various enterprise-wide software packages simultaneously.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision
  • Ability to de-escalate upset Members in order to satisfactorily address their service needs.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a structured work environment and learn, retain, and recall information very quickly
  • Ability to exhibit basic skills in using a personal computer and various software packages (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience working in a Support Center or financial institution providing exceptional service and support
