The Long Term Care Medication Assistant (LTCMA) organizes, coordinates, and processes delivery of resident and staff medications necessary for an effective medication administration. LTCMA is responsible for these functions, which will be accomplished by the use of standards and protocols established by Bethesda Health Group through the use of clinical and organizational skills.
Job Qualifications:
- Education/Training/Experience
- High School Graduate or GED
- Minimum of one year of recent Certified Medication Technician experience required.
- Previous long-term care experience.
- Licensing/Registration/Certification
- Active Certification as a Nurse Assistant in Missouri
- Active Certification as a Medication Technician in Missouri
- Insulin Administration Certification Required
- Current CPR Certification
- Skills and Abilities:
- Possesses integrity, initiative and loyalty.
- Must possess good communication and organizational skills.
