Williamsport Retirement Village-Assisted Living, is currently seeking a Full time, Maryland Licensed Medication Technician to join our team! You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality patient care. The shift is 3pm-11pm, 5 days a week with alternating weekends.

WRV is nestled amid the natural beauty of historic Williamsport, Maryland, bordering the Conococheague Creek; WRV has been a leader in care for older adults for more than 45 years and continues to be recognized for its decades of expertise in assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and respite care.

Med Tech Responsibilities:

General Duties for each shift:· Receive report from previous shift· Read Communication book· Check MAR in your building for any new orders· Assist residents to get up and ready for the day including personal care and activities of daily living· Administer medication according the MAR· Document in residents charts as indicated· Document in TAR and POC for each resident as needed· Assist with food service preparation and serving meals as needed – Clean up and wipe off tables between meals – Set up for lunch only.· Pass waters, collect trash, provide towels, make beds, and assist with laundry· Provide light housecleaning as needed· Monthly weights and vital signs· Complete showers and bed changes according to schedule in book· Answer call lights – when assisting another resident please communication to the nurse on duty if you may be more than 5 minutes· Write significant events and information in the communication book· Inform the nurse of any PRN Medication that is given and also when HOLDING Medications· Order Depends and Supplies on Sunday’s

Requirements:

Must hold an active Maryland Med Tech license, and be able to pass a background check.

Must be able to show proof of Covid-19 vaccine, or provide valid reason for medical/religious exemption.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
