MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE, WORKING WITH HOSPITAL PAPER MEDICAL RECORDS

Important: Knowledge a plus, ICD10,

• Must be knowledgeable in HIPAA laws/regulations.
• Must have experience in medical records releases.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must be familiar with medical terminology/ Coding/Paper Filing.

Must have the six C's of Medical Records:

Client's Words, Clairty, Completeness, Conciseness, Chronological Order and Confidentiality!

As the Medical records assistant, you will be responsible for completion of acute in-patient discharge charts. This detailed position includes, well versed in english, comprehension, accuracy, and clerical skills with knowledge of compliance, auditing and obtaining all needed documentation & signatures from all disciplines. You will work closely with the Health Information Manager with other duties to include overflow filing, storage of records, collecting records as needed for release to other providers.
