The Revenue Cycle Analyst I Manager position provides a vital role in claims processing. This role ensures that all Revenue Cycle Analyst I accurately process patients upon check in, verifying insurance eligibility and timely submission of claims from the front desk. This role is vital in training of new employees. This position requires the use of problem solving, accuracy in medical billing/coding, and ability to meet and manage deadlines.

The Revenue Cycle Analyst I Manager will work between the hours of 8am-5pm. Monday- Friday. The manager will need to work the evening shift or weekends as needed. After 90 days of employment, this position is benefits eligible for the standard company benefits package which includes medical insurance, PTO, and paid holidays.

Education/Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 1 year medical office experience

· Preferred 1 year experience in medical billing/insurance

· Preferred Associates Degree or Medical Certification

· Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisory Role

· Must have valid Driver’s License

· Microsoft Office, type 45 WPM High School Diploma or equivalent

· Must have valid Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation

· Must be able to travel to all 4 ZOe Pediatric offices, Columbus, Thomaston and Barnesville, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the running of the front desk and training all front desk employees and leading by example

· Schedule the front office staff and supervise workload during shifts

· Act as liaison between the COO and staff

· Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic information

· Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)

· Train, supervise and support office staff, including receptionists, security guards and call center agents

· Ensure timely and accurate customer service

· Handle complaints and specific customers’ requests

· Troubleshoot emergencies

· Monitor stock and order office supplies

· Ensure proper mail distribution

· Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met

· Responsible for security of petty cash and reconciliation of copayments daily

  • Coordinates scheduling with Director of Operations, ensuring adequate coverage for lunches
  • Coordinates on-going training of Front Desk staff on eCW functions and Customer Service Functions
  • Coaches front desk staff with the Front Desk Manager and is first poin of contact for resolution of client complaints
  • Ensures the Revenue Cycle Coordinators 1 staff are answering phones and making appointments according to the processes as delineated by ZÖe pediatrics. Each provider is to be double booked.
  • Ensures that office is opened and closed daily and that phones are transferred properly to the on-call nurse.
  • Ensures that all non-clinical supplies are ordered and stocked appropriately.
  • Participation in all Quality Improvement initiatives for the office

· Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner and answers phones and makes appointments according to the processes as delineated by ZÖe pediatrics.

· Ensures that office is opened and closed daily and that phones are transferred properly to the on-call after hours.

· Verifies insurance and benefits daily and verifies behind other revenue cycle 1 coordinators ensuring that all insurances are verified on the day before as well

· Make sure follow up is being completed of all front desk members and confirms appointments for the next day.

· Scans information into appropriate patient records.

· Ensures that emptying fax que is being completed daily.

· Remains proficient in eCW and ensures all front desk processes are followed by Front Desk staff especially at it relates to insurance verification, update of demographic information, scanning appropriate documents inclusive of VARS.

· Works with clinical staff to ensure that acutely ill patients are stable. Providers are to be alerted when there are acutely ill patients in our waiting room.

· Works with clinical staff to keep cycle times to 60 minutes or less.

· Works with Administration to follow-up on all no-show visits.

· Works with office mates to ensure all Front Desk equipment, treasure chest refilled, televisions and fish tank work properly.

· Ensures that environment is clean and presentable.

· Performs necessary duties as required by the medical providers.

· Participates in ZÖe Health Fairs.

· Participation in all Quality Improvement initiatives for the office.

· Accurately evaluates which patients need WCCs when calling in for sick visit appointments or medication refills.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
