Medical Equipment: Service Dispatch Manager

Job Activities

Ensures timely and accurate delivery of durable medical equipment and services to clients by coordinating a team member, equipment, and procedures required for fulfillment.

· Work with individual clients to find equitable solutions to problems as they relate to their account. Learn all positions in the store to better understand the process.

· Provide superior customer service through the timely delivery and setup of product in the customers’ home or facility.

· Creating long term bond with the clients by providing knowledgeable friendly service.

· Contacting and counseling the customer in regard to timely deliveries.

· Leader with the general maintenance and organization of the store by ensuring a safe and pleasing environment for both our customers and fellow associates.

Duties include:

• Establishes delivery routes and schedules that optimize utilization of resources and meets customer commitments.
• Maintain organization of warehousing designated for staging of outgoing delivery items.
• Recordkeeping of deliveries through our system.
• Maintain company vehicles to be clean operational in accordance with state laws and manufacturer’s schedule of maintenance.
• Analyze trip data to identify opportunities to improve service levels and driver safety.
• Update and communicate new or revised delivery procedures.
• Coordinate emergency deliveries after hours or on weekends in conjunction with staff.
• Promote safe driving practices and celebrate exceptional service to team members.
• Perform job functions of delivery drivers as needed.
• Responsible for service scheduling, to escalate client satisfaction.
• Maintains awareness of current business trends, operating conditions, and internal process and practices that have an impact on team members.
• Active role in daily management of all services calls.
• Ensure quality and profitable services are performed.
• Ensure that systems, processes, and methodologies are followed according to company guidelines.

Job Demands:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; talk; bend, stoop, twist, climb, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally is required to lift and carry, items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Be Very Dependable
• Be willing to work necessary hours.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of PA.
• At least 21 years old
• Formal training or experience in, DME, logistics, distribution, service management, or similar field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $51,500.00 per year
