Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

As the largest provider of PHP/IOP programs and psychiatric services in Illinois, Compass Health Center is one of the fastest-growing behavioral health organizations in the country. We are thrilled to expand our exceptionally innovative and highly distinguished programs that redefine our industry and raise the standard for comprehensive care.

Launching in September 2023, our newest location in Silver Spring, MD, will be home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers will build our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.

We are seeking a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while leading interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization that is redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. You will play a pivotal role in a growing, mission-driven environment that accommodates psychiatrist autonomy to create innovative and individualized treatments for each patient.

What You'll Do

• Providing daily care for adolescent and adult patients in our PHP/IOP programs
• Conducting psychiatric evaluations for Compass patients, establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication, and providing therapy
• Leading experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical teams and making overall recommendations on treatment plans
• Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists
• Limited call responsibilities

Who You Are

• BE or BC Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist
• Licensed or ability to obtain Maryland Board of Medical Practice Licensure
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Maryland
• Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
