For a small but busy medical billing office. Friendly, business casual office, located in Aurora, IL (off of Orchard Rd, south of I-88).

Hours Monday thru Friday

No nights/no weekends/no overtime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Help manage the A/R by performing all aspects of the account follow up on self-pay accounts or accounts with patient liability to ensure timely collection of assignments to collection agencies

Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients that include monitoring payments following up with payments when lapses occur

Patient follow up on coinsurance deductibles

Requests additional information from physician offices, patients, and others as needed to resolve payor requests.

Updates patient demographics as needed and correct plan IDs.

Perform special projects and other duties as needed

Ensures compliance with State and Federal Laws Regulations
