Resilient Health, a concierge integrative and family medicine practice, is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant.

Qualifications - smart, responsible, flexible, quick, multi-tasker, great people skills, openness to new ideas and knowledge. Must be able to take vitals (i.e. manual blood pressure) and possess knowledge of basic medical terminology. 50 WPM (typing test will be given).

Everyone at our office plays an integral role in day-to-day operations. You will be busy and the day will go by quickly (!) but due to low patient volume the workload is manageable. We truly care for our patients and are very detail-oriented with their healthcare needs. You will be a valued and necessary member of our team. We have extra-long appointment slots (usually 1 hour), so typically no more than 8-10 patients are roomed per provider per day. Duties to include collecting vitals and rooming patients, administering vaccines, and assisting with procedures when needed. Other responsibilities include light phone triage, Rx refills, helping the physician with editing office visit documentation/notes, and patient communication via portal, phone, and email.

As an integrative practice, we focus on optimizing patients' health with vitamins, supplements, and genomics, including medical evidence behind all of these subjects. We will educate and train you in this fascinating field and do not expect you to come in knowing much, only to be open to learning this specialized and evidence-based information. Traditional western medicine is also used.

Resilient Health's owner is a Harvard-trained physician who teaches other physicians in Texas and throughout the U.S. We are a small, close-knit office and strive to give high-end extraordinary healthcare to a small number of patients.
